South Pittsburg @ Sequatchie County

This will be a tough first game for the pirates. Sp offense has a lot to work on and should progress through out the year.  Defense looked very good and should keep us in most games this year.   Seq will be a huge first test for us and it should be no different than the past few years....who ever wants it more.

After watching the jamboree last night I think South Pitt wins this easier than expected. 2 scores or more.

I know both teams didn't put forth their best effort last night and both teams had starters sitting out on the sideline. I counted 4 for SP and at least 2 for Sequatchie. Friday night will be a tough matchup for the Pirates especially wth weather predicting a wet field.

Seq would love a wet field come Friday. Hoping for sunny skies from Wednesday on lol

I didn’t see a whole lot of speed from either team last night. I mentioned it last season and I think it’s the same this year. These SP teams simply don’t have the speed I have seen in the past.

We had 2 two way starters out. Jackson and Hudson. I have no idea when Hudson will be back but apparently Jackson is fine, the coaches just made him rest. We get everyone healthy, we should be just fine.

Speed is nice but I’d say we have some hard running and hitting boys that will get plenty of yards after contact. 

Looks like our defense is gonna be very stingy when it comes to the run. Just hope our secondary can handle a passing game.

Apparently you can get those in Huntsville, Al
