Maplewood Panthers 2018!

Maplewood has a solid team this year. If they can eliminate mistakes or at least keep them to a minimum, they will go deep in the playoffs. The only thing I see from past experience is dealing with adversity. If they keep their cool if they get down a score or two then they will be dangerous against any team they face.

Awe Panthers.. you let this one slip right off your finger tips... most exciting game I've seen in a while.. East has a beast over there with #1 he just picked us apart from the start his winning touchdown catch was a great play .. we had our chances had it covered and blew it.. clock management at the end was bad.. Maplewood should have tried to run the clock out instead of 3 bad passes that stopped the clock.. and the last drive and play of the game looked like the kid caught it off the tip up.. but its ok just 1 game that they could have won..  I said last week this would be a tough game.. it's still early..  so on to the next..  good game East..  good luck on rest of your season..  

side note.. my veins also pump old East blood.. my mother aunts and uncles cousins all went  and graduated from east and I remember going to games in the huge coliseum that used to sit where the ross elementary school is now located.. great times.. brought back memories.. 

One more thing the size of the new visitor stands was very disappointing... we have the smallest band in the state probably.. and they filled up half the stands.. there was no where to sit..  and the announcer guy sucked bad... I wish I had a mute button for him.. other than that it was a good game!

I kinda got a glimpse of that last night they were down 12 - 0.. and keep pushing and fought back.. and then just stall at the end.. Its still early though.. on to the next game..
