Sorry to interrupt your regular scheduled programming but I want to stick my Wildcat whiskers in here.

I want Maryville to win because I like to read RW's posts and I know a Rebel win would make her happy. However on the CoachT Big Ones contest I picked Alcoa. Both teams are uber talented, dislike but respect each other and it will be a great game. I just feel the Aluminum Foils will wrap up the Rebs 37 - 34.

What's the fun in rolling over and playing dead like WB and Heritage?

heck ya, I believe Alcoa's  got a chance to win! Just think how we'll be if we DO WIN! :thumb:

Also.....You don't think Rankin has good plays?

No fun in rolling over and playing dead. Alcoa definitely more competitive than WB and Heritage. Prolly due to Alcoa ones match up better to the Rebels 2s than WB and heritage do. Goons pretty respectful in a win. Rankins play calling has worked out well for the Rebels.

37-34. yea, i don't think either team will score that much??

I'm thinking if a team scores 28 they win?

I ask the person yesterday about the junior highs not playing and they told me it had something to do with Maryville being in a conference an Alcoa not and playing against Super Midget Teams in Knoxville. I'm sure that reasoning isn't going to be good enough for some people but that's what I was told by someone close to the situation.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
