Hopefully, my alumni will get the football program back on track & I'm going to homecoming this week so hopefully they will get their first win. I think coach Ballard will get the team together & will have all  off season & spring practice to get the players to learn his system. It's hard for a coach to take over a few weeks before season & put his system in, the key is getting the players to comeback out and dedicated to football. Humboldt has never had a losing season until last year but with Coach Ballard also working with the middle school to ensure they are learning his system, Humboldt will be back to one of the best programs in west TN again mark my word. Humboldt has started a football program with the 5 & 6 graders which will only help to instill football at a early age. Good luck Viking & will see you this Friday. Class of 1987 Vikings for Life!!!! So, watch out in the near future & get your wins and belittle/talk about Humboldt football program but we will be back because we are use to winning!!!!!

Great post I was wondering if we had any Humboldt supporters on the T. I actually went to Trenton and Teach in Humboldt.

lol, yes there are still Humboldt fans on coach T, I don't knock teams because a lot of these schools that are finally having a winning season went many years with losing records but I want name. So, a far as I can remember last year was the first time Humboldt didn't win a game but has always had a successful program. like I said in early post Humboldt will be back as one of the best football program again to go along with the basketball program.

I know it's not a great way to determine winners but WC was up 35-0 later in the third. WC was up on Gleason 41 or 2 to zip with 8 mins left in the 2nd.  So idk I'm leaning Humboldt.

Gleason has a nice looking freshman qb on a side note and a good rb

Probably not.Lake Co had Humboldt 43-0 after 1st quarter and went to 6 minute quarters for all of the 3rd and 4th quarters.Lake Co didn't have Gleason 43-0 till half.So could be a close game.Going with Gleason. But could go either way.

This is the all time win loss record for Peabody starting in 1921.

it wasn’t that long ago (2011) Trenton had the same problems as Humboldt now look where they are today.

Right, if a lot of teams post their school records over the past fifty (50) years, a majority of them have multiple losing records & have had several season going 0-10. Humboldt has only had one (1) season going 0-10 but might have another one this season. I was able to find Humboldt playoff appearance for the last fifty (50) years & Humboldt has made TSSAA football playoffs twenty-seven (27) times out of fifty (50) which not to many schools can say that but only a few schools.

Championship Record: 31-26
Appearances (27): 2016, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2006, 2004, 2003, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995, 1994, 1993, 1992, 1987, 1986, 1980, 1979, 1978, 1977, 1969
Finals Appearances/Runners-up (3): 1995, 1979, 1969
Championships (1): 1979
