Welcome to Riverside for a rematch of last year. Hope the weather holds up.

Yep, looks like Riverside is locked in at 2nd for R6, so a rematch it shall be! I remember it had rained about all day leading up to the game last year. Eagles sidelines was an absolute mud pit.

If Waverly loses  this friday to Hickman than riverside would move to 1 and Waverly moves to 2. But i don't see Hickman beating waverly. And yea we played them after 4 days of rain and the sidelines was very bad the team.put down something to stop.the sliding but didn't work

Hickman Co. has a decent ball club but I don't see them beating Waverly this time. They might can do it next year when those Tiger seniors are gone, but not this go round. It looks like some of the Waverly fans were right when they said the region 6 championship was at Riverside a few weeks back. It looks like we will host Eagleville and I hope they are not as good as there were last year, when whey came in footballs to the wall.

I think wavery will still be pretty tough next yr bud. Lots of young good players. Only time will tell. I look forward to a Region 5 beatdown. Time to get some payback! Even if Eville is as good with all due respect Riverside will win.

I didn't see the Waverly possibility, but you're right.

    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
