Based on seeing both teams a lot.

CA is clearly the more physical team. Waverly struggled with CA's physicality last year.

Speed is about even.

CA will move the ball on Waverly's defense.

Waverly will move the ball on CA's defense.

But it's gonna come down to who gets a couple of stops. That means whose D is gonna step up. Put that way, the edge must go to CA.

Peabody has an incredible defense. Better than ours. And Waverly won’t hang 40 on us

Didnt say that they didnt have a good defense. Didnt say they wouldnt hang 50 on us. You know nothing about the Tide or any other team for that matter. Waverly will hang 40 on CA mark it down and put in a book. I will come back to this post Friday night just to say told ya so.

VF1 you are off the deep end dude. Do you realize how much better CA's defense is that Forrest? How many did you score on us? Man, I feel like you need an intervention.

You talk a whole lot of crap for someone who’s team has underperformed every year for the standard that you and your other fans post about

They're like a battered spouse who stays with her abuser. Their team keeps underperforming and they are the wife making slurred excuses to the cops.."It's not his fault occifer!!"

Just an observation.  Scoring a lot of points in a game this year is much more difficult because of the changes TSSAA made relative to the clock.   The game has been shortened because there is much less time stoppage for first downs.  (This has to do with the change to the 40 second play clock.)   If you  will note, the referees have been told this year to restart the clock even if the chains have not been set.  In fact, several times they have restarted even before the ball is spotted.  TSSAA intentionally wanted to shorten the game and they have done so.  Therefore, scoring a lot of points in a game where you have strong defenses is going to be tough.  That said, this contributes to closer games.  As I said, just an observation.

    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
