Where do you get that people are trashing crockett? I just read the entire board and could not find a single comment.  Score predictions- whether you like them or not- is not considered trashing.

You have to cut Crockett fans a little slack, this is the first time they have won a playoff game since 1971, so you can't blame them for being overly excited.    But yeah, it is funny as you say.......

i applauded them in earlier post. going 12-0 is impressive and I do think they have a good team, especially through the air. that guy just comments on everything negative, it’s funny lol. On the coacht board only 54% is picking us to win so idk what he’s talking about.

Win or loose both teams deserve respect. And, yes on the post about the pioneers new to this. You are right sir, I have waited a life time for this season to happen. I am so pumped I cant stand it. I just hope ether way, it stays close. good luck to all . This to me is like the Cubs winning the world series to a cubs fan. I'm like a 56 year old man in a candy shop, lets get this thing going. Not just the first time sense 71, first time in school history......................... undefeated and on the way. All we gotta do is find that glass slipper.

Oh Crockett does have incredible athletes, but I'm afraid to say the weakness will be in the young in-experienced coach. Coaching in them parts of the woods (Knoxville) is a whole different level. It showed with Halls, Crockett needs to thank TSSAA for not allowing Bosken to coach that game or that may have been a different outcome. IMHO I've watched Crockett football for 20 some years and seen this team come through the ranks, a boy scout leader with no coaching could win with this bunch of kids. Next year and definitely the year after will take some serious coaching.

He’s a great coach he will have these boys prepared. Tssaa had nothing to do with it you get ejected automatic one game suspension. Bosken knew the game plan and worked it in practice.

I apologize for the sarcasm about TSSAA. I realize Bosken earned the ejection. My point was and is, if he was on the sideline strategizing a counter to every play you make, just like the central's coach will do, it may have been a little different. Putting in a game plan and managing game is two totally different things. Just better not take make young mistakes like taking a penalty that would have given you a 4th down instead of a 3rd and two chances to score. 

For the record I believe Chandley is an excellent coach too, but we all have a lot to learn when we are young in any profession.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.

      Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?

      Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
