I always thought it was a dirty trick by tssaa to put all those teams in the same region. IMO

Not a mistake sir. R7 is a beast region. But this season there really wasnt a team to prove they were worth being scared of except Peabody,and yes UC just because of their history. No disrespect to the others especially GC, they had a really good year and have something building.

Nothing against middle Tn right here, but I think some years they made the regions and districts so maybe a team like milan or Peabody would battle it out in the 2nd round to get one of them already out of the way and get em roughed up to play a team like York or CPA( that’s how it was back in the day)

It was. I remember going to one game the first year we went down and we played like Middleton and someone told me they was in our region if they got out of it.
