I called the Maplewood Greeneville semi final game earlier in the year. I think Maplewood is cooking up something real nice for ya'll. While yall are down here check out Princes Hot Chicken.  It might make yall feel better about this trip.  Lol

I suggest Princes before the game ...unless you want to add a few hours to your trip back..

You didn’t know??  People from the “hills” don’t eat out for small occasions.  I’d say they will pack a cooler on the bus with leftover turkey sammiches to snack on the way up.  Pumpkin pie to celebrate on the way home.  Next week it’s steak and taters for the champs.

I watched last year’s Haywood at Springfield game on demand today on the NFHS Network. Haywood only had 5 turnovers, but I guess you can call it 6 if you count the botched kick return that they thought was going out of bounds but didn’t and Springfield recovered. Springfield had 4 turnovers so they were really a wash. Haywood lost the game in the second quarter when they single covered #23 and he burnt them twice for TDs. Just my opinion, sorry to be off topic! I’ll stay on our thread for any other HC-Springfield discussion.
