I am not OnB but it might burn the T down!

Its exciting! A lot of teams were really hoping GB would take a big dive after that senior class left this year.

I think folks are going to be surprised by what you guys put on the field this year.

I agree. With what has been added to go along with what we had left if we can mesh over the next 3 months it will be fun to watch.

Everyone knows Greenback is the team to beat. You boys lost the best class in the history of your school, but all the transfers you have added to go along with all the talent you still had will again make you the best team in 1A.

For those barking about SP? SP hasn’t been to Cookeville in 6 years and we haven’t won a gold ball in 9 years. Do we have a chance? Yes, but Greenback is clearly the team to beat in 1A. I’m not sure any other 1A team has D1 talent on their teams. That type talent usually separates teams.

    • Tough situation.  Not sure the ROI is there right now.   Might be better options that are cheaper.
    • Yeah summer ball is really fun, but a lot of coaches are trying to play several kids to get much needed reps that they are not accustomed to. I would imagine Gibson County will have lots of players playing to get much needed reps. Want to win games but got to get experience as well and the rotation will be much deeper. I will be at MTSU, UTM Bethel and others. MTSU is the one I really look forward to.
    • So who are the new additions to the staff? Serious answers only please.
    • Its always interested to see the state teams the following summer after losing or not losing seniors and getting freshman and transfers. It's almost time.
    • Maryville has Alcoa on the schedule at the right time of the season which helped last year instead of at the first of the year not knowing much. West will be hard pressed to repeat this year but next will be a different story.
