tonybologna
Class A Game #1: Oneida vs Loretto (Thursday, March 7th @ 1:15 PM) Game #2: Greenfield vs Clarkrange (Thursday, March 7th @ 2:45 PM) Game #3: Eagleville vs Midway (Thursday, March 7th @ 4:30 PM) Game #4: Summertown vs Gibson County (Thursday, March 7th @ 6:00 PM) Class AA Game #1: Macon County vs Covington (Wednesday, March 6th @ 10:00 AM) Game #2: Cheatham County vs Grainger (Wednesday, March 6th @ 11:30 AM) Game #3: Marshall County vs DeKalb County (Wednesday, March 6th @ 1:15 PM) Game #4: Westview vs South Greene (Wednesday, March 6th @ 2:45 PM) Class AAA Game #1: Arlington vs Riverdale (Wednesday, March 6th @ 4:30 PM) Game #2: Houston vs Mt. Can't they schedule these state tourney games 2 hours apart? Geez! They know most games after the initial game each day will not be starting on time as scheduled. Why can't they just start with a and play 6 games Wednesday and Thursday instead of starting with aa, or do 2 games each class a day with 2 hour gap between. Have single a at 10 and 12, aa at 2 and 4 the aaa at 6 and 8, then in semis, on friday at 10 noon and 2 then finals on Saturday at 10,3,7
Bearettesalltheway
Or do double elimination and have championship best of 3 with the game on Saturday, mon, Wednesday (if necessary).

I also don't like the fact of having the same classification play their quarterfinal games on different days. They have 2 games one day & 2 games the next. To be honest, that's not fair to ALL teams in the tourney. This gives 2 teams an advantage with a day of rest over the other teams. I don't get their scheduling but the TSSAA has really had issues with this for years. It needs to be addressed/looked into & fixed to make this state tourney fair for ALL teams involved. bobcatfan300
My "A" picks: Class A Game #1: Oneida vs Loretto (Thursday, March 7th @ 1:15 PM) Loretto by a lot. Clarkrange beat Oneida 71-35 but had a closer game at Oneida. Game #2: Greenfield vs Clarkrange (Thursday, March 7th @ 2:45 PM) The Lady Bobcats blew a 13 point lead last year against Greenfield. Clarkrange won't let up. Game #3: Eagleville vs Midway (Thursday, March 7th @ 4:30 PM) I don't see either having a close semifinal game. Clarkrange beat Midway 53-37. Eagleville beat the #2 6A team Clay Co by 1. Game #4: Summertown vs Gibson County (Thursday, March 7th @ 6:00 PM) Gibson County won their first meeting easily. They will win again. In the tougher bracket, Clarkrange winning a close one over Loretto. Gibson County easily over Eagleville. Championship: Clarkrange adds it's 9th Gold Ball to its collection in a nail biter. But I think Greenfield, Loretto and Gibson County are all strong teams and any of the three could win it. In AA I pick Macon Co. over South Greene, after they won the Silver Ball in an overtime loss to Upperman. Riverdale in AAA. Money game not a basketball game. All tssaa is worried about is the money involved not how it relates to the kids, teams, or coaches.
