PREDICT YOUR REGION'S FINISH

I know, it's early! But I know everyone that gets on here does it because of their love for high school football. I also know that you probably have in you head an idea of how you think things could/will play out in your region. You have some knowledge of what the other teams have coming back, or you just go on the tradition of programs. Our region 2-5A, I look at it this way:

 1. Central                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     2. S-D                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             3. Halls                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         4. Carter                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       5. Gibbs                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       6. Seymour                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   7. Sevier Co.

I know a lot of people have S-D picked as preseason favorite, and that's ok, Central has been picked to finish 2nd the last 3 years and we have seen the results. I understand why S-D is picked, they have a lot of talent coming back. But if the past repeats itself, by the time Central and S-D play each other at the end of the season, Central will have a mental and physical edge. Rosser does a great job of peaking his teams at the right time. 

I look for Halls and Carter to be better, Gibbs may fall off a little. Seymour should be a lot like last year's team. Without the QB that transferred to Alcoa, Sevier County will continue to struggle.

Those top 3 could finish in all different orders IMO, but I would indeed begin the season with the way you have it written.

I honestly believe that South Doyle vs Central game this year might be one of the best of the year. Central wants to prove that have what it takes to get back to state and SD coming off that horrible loss last year. I'm still taking my Kees over the Bobcats but it'll be a toss up come game week. SD's biggest advantage is returning 19 starters.
