I like Crockett in this one.   12-1 last year, until someone knocks them off I would give the nod to DC.

Does anyone know if a player gets suspended for a game and that game gets suspended due to lightning can the player play in 2nd game?

If they didn't finish the game, my guess would be he still has to sit out since the game didn't count

Athletic director was on the phone with someone asking that question before they finally called the game Friday night. Should’ve went ahead finished the game. Game doesn’t count as a win or loss. Game will not be resumed unless at end of season any team needs the game to determine playoff seeding or playoff implications

Yeah I've never of that happening before so it'll be interesting what the TSSAA says about it

The logical thing would be for the player to be eligible to play in the second game. But it's the TSSAA so they'll probably draw straws.

If he gets to play Crockett will get much needed help on the lines.

I doubt the player would be eligible since he technically didn't sit out a game since it wasn't finished and didn't count towards the win or loss record.  The game against Science Hill would be DC first game of the season

There isn't going to be a Sullivan South in two years, Sullivan County is combining South, North and part of Central to form Westridge. They will 6A when it opens and Stacey may be the coach, Science Hill is just not responding to his style now for some reason.
