Some numbers from history since 1990, TC and H2O have played 24 times, TC holds just a slight advantage in wins in the series as TC has 21 wins and H2O 3, there is a narrower margin in point totals as TC has outscored H2O 899-198 in those 24 games for a avg score of 37.5 to 8.3, in the TC wins(21) the avg score was 41.4-7.1 and in the H2O wins(3) score was 16.3-10. Just some food for thought since H2O is and has always been able to compete with us.

I understand we expect to win but what good is it for you to plaster it all over the internet about how much they fumble or they should have done this, harping on the coaches is one thing but the kids

What are the comparisons since 2000?

 

Heck you wouldn’t even alive in 1990. 

 

PS: I was alive in the 90’s and last years TC team and I will assume this year’s TC team couldn’t hold a candle to any of those state championship teams.. They were the TRUTH!

 

As for H2O we were awful in the 90’s especially the mid to late 90’s. We had 4 different coaches from 96 to 2000.

 

 

These H2O teams  would blow us away and that is a fact. This program has jumped leaps and bounds so to compare apples to apples you need to narrow your year range down quite a bit!

 

Nobody has argued who has the better history, but you TC folk want to bring it up every time you feel threaten that someone is going to knock you off you alls saddle.

 

I see y’all over there sweating it and I love it!!

There’s nothing to sweat, season will go on with a W or a L, sure it would be nice to get a W, and if you go from 2000, the record is 11-3

You have no idea. I was born in the early 80’s. I had the pleasure to watch trousdale pound usj in the championship game in 98. 

 

H2O has grown leaps and bounds but where is the gold ball ?

Buddy I was born in early 80 as well and got pounded once a year by those TC teams... We are both saying the same thing there winner If you could / would of read my statement you would of understood.

 

These TC teams do not compare to any of those in the 90’s.

We weren’t healthy either soooo  what’s your point ?  We won the championship and h2o was sitting at home. 

 

I think you are the one who should work on English/ reading comprehension.

Point 1 is not legible what in tarnation ?

Point 2 the 90's is irrelevant, its 2019

Point 3 imporved trash is still well, trash "polished turd" so to speak!

Point 4 No Goldballs ! and posters with no balls ? Winner at life ? The house always wins and thats death ! Same graves same depth !! 

Point 5 and the most "special ed " TIDE had starting linemen out broke hands and TC was beat to heck n back but guess what we dont mind and you dont matter !!! Let the Big Dogs eat and if your a good WaterBoy maybe we will throw ya a scrap !!!

      OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.

      They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.

      The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.

      I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
