Yes I agree that every school has written transfer policies. However there are some school in TN that are closed zone meaning you have to live in that zone to go to that school. If a student transfers in they must live in that zone.

These are the folks I'm saying Greeneville and open zoned schools have the advantage over. Which they REFUSE to admit is an advantage.

im way late to this discussion, but i see yall must be talking about "recruiting" or whatever lame azz excuse people are making for Greeneville these days...(not saying you are). Sure, being an open zone school may, or may not have its advantages, but if anyone (again, not saying you) says that was the reason Greeneville had an amazing come back.....only the third time in school history they've come from 21 down to win......then they are sorely mistaken. We have 2 kids on this team that transferred from other schools that actually play in games and one of them only play 4 or 5 plays in the game. So again, im late to the discussion, but i just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

There are two problems with your statement although what your saying is technically correct. First most of the school systems are open zone so almost everyone has the same advantage. Well over 80% of districts in TN are open zone. Second if closed zone school districts were really upset about it they have complete power to change the policies and become open zone. If they don’t it is their own fault and they have no room to complain.

So what you're saying is over 80% of the schools districts that are open zoned have an advantage over the 20% of the schools systems that are closed zoned. So, Knox Co has the same Advantage but you just like being a troll :thumb:

Knox county isnt open zone for the 484858 time. You can go to a school out of your zone if you have a very specific reason. One night being you think the other schools academics are better. Alot of school districts are closed zones so they don't end up like Greene county with one school being absolutely dominate over the rest. Such as knox/sumner/rutherford.

Yes. Knox Co schools are open zone. Board policy J-152 proves it. Just go to the online board policies and look for yourself.

    • Yeah. AC brass walked in to the building at Clinton and suggested that the principal start changing grades.  Honesty, the notion that anybody at AC was involved is just idiocy.  The ones who are hurt most are the kids who weren't involved in the cheating, but still are being penalized by college admission decisions and scholarship consideration simply because they went to a school that was involved in such a scandal.
    • I heard it was ugly.  Coach Harig and the Redskins demolished what is left of the Dragon Wagon.  At this point, it is not certain that Clinton will even be able to field a football team for 2024.  No way the coach keeps his job, transfers gone, nothing left.  Back to the stone ages for the Dragoons.
    • Not even close, changing over 1000 grades?  Head coach changing grades to keep players on the field?  Not the same.  They will give Lieutenant Flip Flops the "Opportunity to resign"  right after graduation if not before.     Negative, the juvenile court judge blew the whistle.  Clinton admin, teachers and coaches started this fire.  Been going on for 4 years now according to Jones, one of the teachers that was fired.  This is truly pathetic.   The Dragon Wagon is #### up in the ditch down on highway 61 down there near The Spur.  Reap what you sew.
    • What ever happened to the #93 rb that came in and did well last year when yalls RBs we’re going down?
    • Going to be a rough season for coach Egghead and the hawks. Everyone picking the under
