Govs should have a win here. Very disappointed with the lack of effort Heritage put out against Bradley Central. Just hope everyone stays the distance and don't jump ship before season is over.

Interesting way by The Daily Times to frame the series history, stating that WB has won 8 out of 10. While that’s technically true, saying that WB has won 20 out of 22 would be more complete journalism and give a better sense of the true nature of the “rivalry.”

WB leads the series 27-13 in 40 contest since 1979. 19 game win streak starting in 1997 for WB really caused this series to get lopsided.  The 1990 game Heritage actually won but had to forfeit a couple of games because of an ineligible player that transferred from Maryville to Heritage without setting out or moving. The same year WB did the same thing and had to forfeit to Maryville after throurly beating us 31-0.
