Your offense has to turn the turnovers into points which I highly doubt you can. Westmoreland offense is tailor-made for TC defense.

Yea your right... Our O-Line is going to have to do some growing up this week if we want to move the ball, gotta give our backs a chance.

Our O-line is still going through its own frowning pains even though they played a great game last week. TC offense still has work to do both teams have the same issue.

BCB~MVP's By The Numbers:

Week 5: Trousdale Co. vs. Westmoreland

Match-Up History:   When I hear of this match-up I feel like the two have played more than they actually have. My records show this Friday will be 20th meeting. I know for several years, the 2 schools have faced off in preseason match-ups which kept the fire burning from some heated battles in the mid 90s but a consistent scheduled game didn’t reappear until 2015. Overall I show Trousdale Co. leading the series 12-7 and winning the last 9 match-ups. Since the 2 were placed in the same Region in 2015, the Yellow Jackets have outscored the Eagles 113-13 in 4 games with 2 shutouts. Last year on the Creekbank resulted in a 37-0 victory over a very young Eagle team.

For the rest of my weekly segment, you will have to listen to the Burma Road Podcast, linked below. If you haven't taken the time to check this podcast out, you are missing out. Steven and John do a great job giving Jacket insight!

The wing t is a ball controlling offense we are not gonna put up as many points as we did last year just not gonna happen just be happy if we get a win.

A wing T offense can put up a lot of points. look at Oakland they put up 86 points in one game. Yeah I know it’s Oakland but it’s possible to put up a lot of points in a wing t.  I know the spread we ran last year is a fast scoring offense.

Just be glad we winning it could be worse we have a whole new offense line and OAKLAND is on a whole other level than us.We will get there.

Oh, I know they have Division 1 players all over the field. The offense took a huge step last game and the line did too. Just have to fix the fumble problems.

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
