WB had a complete scoring drive that was almost all penalties.

Yes, but before they marched us down the field they backed us up to our own end zone. Most of the penalties were good calls, but good grief. At some point it doesn't even matter.

Bradley avg over 170 yards of penalties. Its what they do. They do help out a lot of drives for most teams.

I'll say one thing. This WB team is 2-6 right now, but we have been in every game (except Maryville) well into the second half.

Now all we have to do is take that next step and start winning these games. Hopefully, that will start next Friday on senior night against Cleveland. The kids certainly deserve to have a good outcome after all the hard work this season. There's still a lot to play for. Let's win out and try to sneak into the playoffs.

Why did your coach not take advantage last week and gets some extra work in??The answer to most of your troubles is staring you all straight in the face.Fumbles, penalties are all things you can work out in practice sure they do happen but a well coached team limits them.

Cleveland is a good sound football team. Great RB and we all know Flowers. I expect Cleveland to pull it out

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
