Bearden can't stop the run. Farragut ran the ball against them with an 8th string running back that isn't even a RB. QB only has eyes for #1 seldom looks for any other receiver. It is the playoffs so anything can happen but if Farragut can run against them ANYBODY can. The only time they made any plays on offense against Farragut where busted plays that the QB just threw the ball up before getting sacked and against Farragut's very bad DBs they would result in a big play. Other than a couple of those plays Bearden couldn't move the ball.

If stopping the run is a problem, then McMinn is not the team you would want to see coming.

I haven't been on the T in a while.... probably since the McMinn Central game. I remember after that game that guy "catch'n'burn" called some of our players out and our coach and also stated that we wouldn't beat Bradley, and that we would also go like 4-6....REALLY glad we proved that wrong.

I couldn't be prouder of the season we have had. It has been a sweet surprise, and I have that same feeling that I had back in 2011 and 2012. I think we can make a little run in the playoffs. I am proud of the TRIBE!!!!!!

Defiantly did more this year than I thought.  I actually was looking for them to have their year next season.  The Kees have done a great job of handling what was in front of them.

McMinn has a tough rushing attack. I was in Chattanooga on business back in October and had the chance to catch the Cleveland game. The RB for McMinn is a tough runner to stop. Defensively, they were stingy and tried to keep everything in front of them. The RB was a force in the defensive backfield as well. Excited to see how R1 & R2 bracket plays out and see who goes to Maryville for Rd 3. I pray this is a safe and hard-fought game on both sides tonight.

    • That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.
    • 1st round exit?        For real ?!?!?!                     Oh wait.....    are we talking band or football?
    • Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
    • Their feeder programs are in the best shape they've ever been.
    • The definition of what happened to the ex-coach is ambiguous. The school said they were going in a different direction and thanked her for her service as coach. Apparently, coaches in Warren County operate on one-year agreements of some type. Rumors are that she was asked to resign, and refused. Whatever happened, it appears that the school system did not renew the one-year agreement with the ex-coach to come back for another season. One and done tenure as coach. Stotts has been a guidance counselor at the high school in Warren County. Several years ago, the former girls coach who is now an AD and assistant principal dismissed Stotts from his staff on the first day of the season. That reality made the hiring of Stotts a mystery to many people in Warren County.
