Westmoreland Travels to Tyner for Round 1

Playoff Game Day - a lot of questions to be answered tonight:

Will Westmoreland be able to move the ball on the ground consistently - control the clock, shorten the game, and make this a competitive battle or even an upset?

Will Tyner's offense under the leadership of Mr. Football Semi-finalist Martavious Ryals show the explosive scoring ability they have demonstrated for most of the season and pile up the points against the Eagles?

Perhaps the most important question - Will there be fish sandwiches for sale?

Look forward to hosting Westmoreland - have a safe ride over to Chattanooga and to Wayne Turner FIeld/Bob Evans Stadium.  Go Rams!

Like Ram Fan, I have no say over such things.  The boys basketball team - coaches/parents etc. run that visitors side concession and they have had fish probably 3 or 4 out of 5 weeks.  I'll try to find out if Coach EJ Ward and the crew will have them tonight and post it so you will know for sure.  Would be a shame if you had to go to Captain D's at Hamilton Place if we aren't selling them.  Basketball practice has started though and Coach may be more concerned about trying to beat Brainerd and Howard in hoops than making a little coin off of fish sandwiches.

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
