Pulling for Oneida to get the W. The last time we played Meigs in football was the game Fitz wanted to fight our coach after the game, lol. He couldn’t just take his beating and shake hands, he had to have words and swell up, lol. It was comical. Nothing against any of you guys, just love sharing that story. :roflolk:

Thanks BTW.

Seeing the big receiver back in last night and catching 2 point conversion was great. Also, #32 came in and added some more size on D. Getting healthy now!

Been impressed with #32 he really hustles to the ball. Hes definitely hard on runners lol be it QB or the rb. Were getting healthy at the right time. I like that we passed more last night, and I had hoped we would. Next couple games it will come in handy for the stingy defenses.

Same scenario this week. Can the O-line control the Oneida defensive front. Oneida has best DLine and LBs this side of SP and I hope we are up for the test. Defensively Meigs will have to avoid getting mashed up front by the power running of Oneida. Oneidas Defense is best in our region and their a challenge for us by scheme

I think there hasn't been much change since our last meeting except meigs has gotten healthy. I'd expect that has significantly increased there offensive ability. If that's the case then it shouldn't be close. Then again the first one shouldn't have been a game either. Regardless everyone will predict meigs in a landslide. We weren't picked to even make round 3 so we're playing with someone else's money right now. If we win we shock the world, if we lose we were supposed to. Pressure to perform is with Meigs in this one.

Round 3, at this point and time, to be one of the top 8 left in 2A is an accomplishment.  Indians survived a battle last night.  It was war!  One could say help you prepare for a tough game with the Tigers, problem is no time to heal.  It's a time of year when desire kicks in.  I can say this, version one of this game was a good game in Oneida, let's hope the game in Decatur matches it.  If it does the game could go either way.

This week for both teams, practice the forward pass, LOL.

    • I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first? The lawsuit is dealing with due process, loss of property, and defamation.   You can read the lawsuit here: https://bdnewsletter.files.wordpress.com/2024/04/doc-1-complaint-filed-4-18-2024.pdf
    • The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..
    • I think they have they coach they want close to being done. I guess we will all see how this plays out. I hope the hire a good one. There are some players in the box for the next coach to work with.
    • Going to grundle Troy Fleming?
    • I agree I don't think it will go to trial either, but I feel like that will be because no judge would deem this to warrant a law suit... If the school board settles, they loose and all coaches and schools loose too.
