Any word on this job?  Who might be interested, etc.  Also hearing they may drop down at least one classification after this season.  Does that make this job more attractive?

As far as I know the job has not been posted yet, dropping classes will make it better than it is now.

For sure. Playing that region with Hillwood, Hunters Lane, and Glencliff will get you state ranked.

Haven’t heard anything yet. 2-3 coaches on staff have the background to be candidates for the job but who knows at this point.

Bump. Any news on this job getting posted? Is the school board preventing this job from being posted? Surely they'd want a head coach hired by Jan...

Why would the school board prevent this job from being posted?   Probably because they want to hire in house and you do not have to post it if so.

Currently 3 coaches still on staff.  Bain, who is the interim head coach, Anderton, and Wise.  Not a good job next year with 10 seniors and still in 6-A but could be a good job after reclassification going down to 5-A and possibly 4-A.

FYI, Enrollment is currently in the low 1200 range.

What is the thoughts and cause of the enrollment being down?

County rezoned last year. Gallatin increased, Beech increased, HVille stayed about the same. The new high school is supposed to open fall of 21 which will change everything again.

I don’t think they are courting someone on staff but in the building.
