Yep LOD there's 74 of those hateful things!! They're original and almost worn out. I worry each game someone will slip and fall. But we don't want to replace them!!!

Two years ago, my wife and I got caught half way down the steps when the players started to come down. Neither one of us are fleet of feet and we just barely made it to the place where you can go left and get behind the lower bleachers. I was so embarrassed.

Y'all got two options to make them safer.  Paint then with what the Navy uses on Aircraft Carrier flight decks.  It is called "Non Skid" as it does NOT allow one to slip.  NO, I do not have a fiscal interest in it.  I can tell you it will take hide off though if you get blown down on the flight deck better than a gravel road!

The second would be put down skate board tape on the steps.

I would suggest a rest and oxygen station about half way up though!  LOL

The biggest problem is all the football cleats going up and down them all these years. They are hollowed out on the tops of the steps, just worn down. But the powers to be better leave them alone!

I drove John Clark to the game so everybody could have Coach Gaddis bubble gum. I really didn't know him but when the Boosters bus was cancelled he got my number off the sign up sheet and called me for a ride. We had some good catfish before the game but dont remember the resturant's name. Catfish something.

Yeah Willie we ate at the same restaurant, it was right in front of the school.

The fish place is not there anymore.  Its service went to the dogs and the place closed and it got bought and torn down.  I 'think' they put up a Starbucks or a Panera Bread  and something else on the lot.

I don't go to Smyrna much anymore now that my Parents have passed on.
