I’m sure they would same Old crap Every time oh the yrs Alcoa beat M we hear - well they should go outta state and play Hoover or some team in Ga and just see what happens. SMH I mean it's very very very common for state powers to venture out of their comfort zones and seek competition. That's another difference between the states you named, Georgia Texas California Florida etc. Their top teams (especially in the higher classifications) have no problem at all traveling out of state to play another state or even nationally ranked team. They wouldn't even have to cut a check because Maryville vs a Hoover or something like that would earn them a check from ESPN. But if the big fish in a little pond approach is what you want to take that's fine.

Oh we could compete with any school anywhere with alcoa and Maryville combined by the way Ga-Tx-Fl-Ca If y’all combined Alcoa and Maryville who’s your staff? Far as near Pc the only schools somewhat near out area Hillwood/Hillwood. That would put us at about 3,000 kids..I would love to see metro Nashville with 3-4 High schools. 13 public’s is to many. Our largest schools are 2200,1900 and 1,600. Edited April 30, 2020 by FBfan26

Not sure about Maryville going out of state that i can remember. what is your reasoning behind seeing them go to other states? so if they lose you can say something about it or what ????? I’m sorry Oakland played Hoover and lost 24-6 and Blackman played Clay-Chalkville. Two of Alabama’s top teams.

And I wasn't speaking on Alcoa there. I remember y'all playing Belfry and Corbin, I'm sure there were a few others. Maryville on the other hand plays nobody out of state. Haven't since I've been paying attention to Tennessee football statewide. And no IDC to say something about it if they lose but it would give the state more national prominence if they won.. another reason we don't get looked at like a Georgia or even Alabama.
