What is a head scratcher is her recruiting is not great at all and she is not interested in Chloe. I wish Tess the best but Kelly is going to have to get with the program in recruiting.

1000% agree!! How do you let 3 All Americans ALL get out of state when they are a straight line drive less than 2 hours down I-40?? She has got to do better. Nothing against Darby, but she was the 2nd best player on her high school team. And the grad transfer they got from Liberty is about 2-4" undersized for the post in the SEC.

Come on now Pioneer, we all know the main reasons why Tennessee hired Harper is because she played there. If she didn't play in Knoxville, slim chance she gets hired. Phillip Fulmer isn't the brightest guy at Rocky Flop, let's not act like things at Tennessee are "political free" and full and sunny skies and tulups.

I am not judging her just yet but I am not impressed the fact that she let a 2 time Miss Basketball get out of here without a fight. Fulmer’s main concern is football and he has his hands full with that.

Weak. Greenfield blew them out and she couldn’t do anything. She turned it over consistently as the PG. Greenfield had 6 players better than her.

I watched that game as well as the Loretto game and clearly all cases Chloe was dominant in both games. TN’s recruiting I agree is the biggest mystery I have seen. Tess is a great player too. This is not a knock on her. Just hard to believe TN is not interested In that dominant of a player.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
