I agree, EHS has enough fan support to where they could stream it online or air it. That way everyone benefits.

Plus you have the band parents and cheerleaders parents. As for elizabethton they could let the band play before the game then half the homeside leaves and they could let football fans in after that.  As for road games I guess sale tickets early and ones that are left over it is first come first serve.

As far as the band parents go, that’s basically the what happens anyway but in reverse. The home side is half empty after halftime unless it’s Science Hill or Greeneville. Lol

That's because we chose to play up. If we were 5A no one would stand a chance and people would say we're too scared to play up. They said the same thing when we dominated 4A, now the only argument I hear is why can't we play outbof state teams.

As far as NE football is concerned, until proven otherwise I'm not ready to put them in the conversation of dominant programs.

Dominant may be too strong of a word. But you have to respect what Greeneville has been able to do with the 4 championships they have won in the last ten years. Betsy finally getting over the hump. NETN football has definitely gotten better over that length of time.

This football season is going to be different for sure.I am glad they are going to play but I just hope and pray they can do it safely.

Since we went to a true state wide playoff (which btw excludes DB and their titles by AP vote) Jeff County was the first "East Tennessee" team to win it all in the '90s I think. We have come a long way since then and it only makes us all better.

I hate to be a know it all because I could get spell or gramer corrected on every post.Morristown east won it at the highest level " 3A " at the time during the first playoff year,1969.TH won it in 71-72 where they finished 2nd in the nation and then won the national title in 72.I think Jeff county won it in 87 but wouldn't swear.

I played for Greenback in 87 when we won State and Jeff Co won it also.We practiced along side Jeff Co at UT for a week on the turf.Got to know alot of the Jeff Co kids.

Well, Betsy is rolling in practice and their biggest competition is sitting at the house for a couple of weeks it looks like.
