What a screw job on William Blount having a team scheduled and backing out to play another team. This is total BS. This is a case for Horace Brown. He'll fight for the Governors and get all their lost proceeds back with pain and suffering damages from the chair being pulled out from under them.

Murvul should just play them again. Oh wait, they would probably rather take the easy forfeit win rather than earning it.

You realize Maryville was going to play Bearden next week. They moved the game to September 18th. Maryville will play 10 games.

They were originally scheduled to play Kenwood, which resides in a county that can't play fall sports till Aug. 31st at the earliest

We tried to get TSSAA to let Maryville play us again which could "possibly" give MHS an 11 game season.  The TSSAA said....NO. Game could only be played if MHS would cancel on someone else down the road.  Now about the TSSAA being "flexible."  As of now we have had MO WEST and HALLS cancel.  This is a lot of fun.  While Oakland is open, I doubt they want to drive 2.5 hours right now and we really need a home game.  Losing a home game results in nearly a $10,000-$15,000 loss.  Lucky I am rich and can just make a personal donation.............................

 

We don't really care about a forfeit win.  That's cheap.
