I find it interesting that Henry Co is 7th in the AP poll but they are the highest rated 5A team in the Sonny Moore ratings.

Happens every year.  Look at Rhea.. undefeated but if you look at who have they played. Nobody.. all teams ranked high in numbers. We beat the team 2nd in our region something like 58-0 and never advanced in the rankings.

Do we really think Brentwood Academy is 26th based on the Sonny Moore ratings?  Anyone know how these are compiled?

Yes, these polls are garbage, and mean absolutely nothing. They are irrelevant in a true playoff system and have no impact on seeding or home field advantage. It all proves out in the playoffs, so don’t let it bother you too much. If anything, all these do polls do is make it more difficult for coaches to keep their programs grounded and their kids level headed. JMO.

The division II numbers are clearly out of whack because a lack of common opponents.

Ahhh just wait a week and maybe it'll change. May not be the way you want but it'll change. Then again it may stay the same!
