School systems not playing yet - what's their future?

What would "everybody being on the same page" look like?  Do you mean everyone plays or no one plays?

TSSAA really did all they are actually authorized to do, they cleared the way for us to play on time and a full schedule. This COVID thing has affected every school system and community differently and they left it up to our local authorities to decide what is best for our kids.... although some local decisions have been highly questionable.

The rest of the state shouldn't be punished because of Nashville and Memphis not being allowed to play by their local governments.

As time passes, it becomes fairly obvious that neither Nashville or Memphis will be able to catch up and play on an even playing field with the rest of the TSSAA this season. In fact, the Memphis football coaches have suggested a plan where they would just play each other and crown a "city champion".

We do live in interesting times.

Shelby County Schools are supposed to meet next week and decide whether to play football or not. This seems kind of odd since the private schools in Shelby County are playing games and have been since the season started.

They should be good to play. Metro just gave us the green light today. First game on the 25th.

So, what kind of schedule will Metro schools play? Just Region games, or pick up the scheduled games after Sept. 25 and omit those earlier in the season?

Pick up our schedule on 25th. Lucky for us we scheduled alot of metro teams last year. Only team we have to worry about on our schedule is independence and Giles, which Giles is a region game. I'm not sure yet if indy dropped us or not.

So what about the region games that were missed ?  Will those be made up ?
