This reminded me of a quote from Colquette in a qtr final game in '93 against Kingston. We had won 26 games in a row and should have won the state that year which would have eventually given us 4 state titles in a row. Shot ourselves in the foot all night and refs called back a few scores. We had it 4th & goal at the 1 with seconds left on the clock. Some coaches wanted to kick the FG but Coach Colquette said "if you can't score from the 1 yd line you don't deserve to win." They held and we lost 7-6. 

We did draw them again next year in the qtrs and won that one 42-0. Still didn't erase the pain of that night.

They had 8 chances to get. In we committed a pass interference on 4th and 2 or something like that and gave them 4 more downs. The 8th play of those downs we hit them for a loss when they ran it. They couldn't run against us they passed against us though. Mostly because we played too far off of the recievers in that game.

In the 87 championship season,we were at Coalfield and the had a first and 1.They ran it 3 times then a pass,we got a PI penalty.They get 4 more downs run 3 pass 4th we did the same thing.They get 4 more downs and lose about 10====We had had enough!LOL.Coalfield only lost 3 games that year.1 time to us regular season,and Oneida.We got them in the playoffs at their place again and beat them by about 40.They said they thought they had figured us out after the game in the paper.NOPE!LOL.Got to love a goaline stand!

I was proud of our kids no doubt lol. If you had seen the pass interference play though you'd LOL.

 they come out with a highlight video after every game win or lose. Oddly enough those plays didnt make the cut.
