This one was fine,Uknoit was talking about the Elizabethton Star.

Ah, didn’t read that one. We’ve got one paper that does an amazing job covering local sports. The other one, well I’ll be nice, I don’t bother reading the other one. Sometimes folks are just along for the ride I reckon.

Watched the cosby game on fb.  We are not very good at all but better than I thought we'd be at this point

Y’all are good on defense in your front 7. Better weather and we may had been able to take advantage of your secondary a bit had we been able to keep our QB upright. Landers were bringing the heat at us most of the night.
Seriously y’all ain’t bad. #4 is a ball player. Hard nosed typical Cloudland youngin, and y’our young guys play hard with no fear.

We had two early turnovers that forced us to change game plan too early and it sorta got away from us. We never stopped your run game but y’all never broke anything big either. Y’all got 4-5 yards a pop which keeps moving those chains all night. You will still easily win your district and I can see you competing with the 3-4 and maybe even the 2 out of district 2 still.

I appreciate your confidence but we'll be lucky to get 50 yards of offense this week.  We got 3 out of 5 linemen who don't have much experience and a new qb.  The handoffs have got to improve.  I was a nervous wreck watching those exchanges smh.

A lot of teams will be lucky to get 50 yards against Hampton.

Y’all will be alright. We have some serious work to do up front. We’ve got a a few athletes but we’re completely rebuilding up front.

Think we replaced about 7 defensive starters from last years team but on rare acasions you can do it with quality players. Got a bunch of good looking young kids on this team, good sized boys that can move. Landers will have a tough time trying to run the ball.

We used to do it all the time at cland.  I remember Tim Clipse's junior year we replaced every single linemen with new faces and had our first 10-0 season.  90% of generation x kids were naturally tough kids who did a lot of work.  We were just raised better.  No internet, playstation, cell phones, and computers.  A football program will always begin and end with the parents.  I think the parents should get a gold ball when their kid wins the state.  Today,  most kids are not held accountable.  Its actually ok to be a weak male in 2020.

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
