Good game last night Central folks. Meigs boys really had to work for it.

Central played as well as they could. Meigs was their own worst enemy all night with a lot of penalties to overcome. Meadows is quick and strong. Smith terrorized Central's backfield. Meigs effectively ran the same 3-4 plays all night and used a lot of players. I think Fitzgerald's plan was just to win and play a lot of guys. They could have passed for a lot of yards but seemed to want to keep the offense very vanilla. Maybe he didn't want to show South Pitt much. I still don't think they have the same swagger as they did with Swafford, but they're still a force.

It did seem a little off I think for whatever reason. Our rythm just seemed off I guess compared to some of our other games but we didnt play bad. Central played the best defense I've seen them play in a long while. You can tell Davis has their run defense dialed in for the most part.

I did feel the boys played hard, a lot of young talent.
