Congratulations Scott’s hill on your win!

Better than just a "W" '45. Our kids finally played football as a unit in the second half. We were in a bad spot last night with everyone who had taken a snap before this week out. PC scored first, after our first offensive snap was put on the ground somewhere around our 15 and their TD pass was an "easy" interception that went off our DB's hands right to the receiver. Both teams moved the ball afterward, but we only managed to score once before the half because of turnovers and penalties. Second half wasn't perfect, but it looked and sounded like football. Unless we forget whatever changed in the locker room, I expect that we will be a little tougher out for the rest of the season.

Relieved to watch them gel together BPM... still got a ways to go, and it's probably early for me to be so optimistic, but I think our feet are finally back on the path. I knew that we weren't as bad as we've sometimes looked early, but Perry County isn't a bad football team and we did a good job against them in the 2'nd half.

The  Lions coaching staff made adjustments at the half and the Vikings didn't. PC should've been up 2 scores going into the half but fumbled inside the 5 twice. 11 penalties for 95 yards won't win any football games. A lot of finger pointing and personal foul/ unsportsmanlike conduct penalties happening way too much. I'm not going to name names or call anyone out but this team has to cool off and just play football. They haven't had that same fire and desire they had after beating Hickman County and the last two games have shown that they have a lot to work on during this bye week. They outgained Scotts Hill 157 to 93 in the first half. In the second half, the Lions outgained PC: 227 to 64. Congrats to the Lions and I hope this spring boards y'all the rest of the year.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
