I know you said your brother plays for East. How is the Groves kid... I heard he had pretty bad injury?

When I watched it on film it definitely didn’t look good, but I haven’t really heard anything yet.  He said he heard a pop, but hopefully it’s not anything super serious.

If #9 Ranen Blackburn is the Quarterback and runs the ball most of the time, who is the Running Back?

The 2 RBs for the devils absolutely gave the Jacket defense fits. They run hard with good speed. 34 is built like a RB for sure. This game was hard to pick bc I seen them both play. Game is at WH. I picked the devils 28-27 in this one but Lord knows Im wrong every week on picks. It could go either way. Depends who shows up and wants to play defense

Blackburn, 9, is at QB and 34 Montrel Black is the RB. I really don’t know who 32 is. Lol. Either way, Black has fumbled a few times this season and it’s limited his carries at times. He’ll need a big game Friday.

I was impressed with #34 when WH played Springfield. That kids got the size speed and look of a D1 running back. If he and #9 had a little better line play, they both could 1,000+ yard rushers.

Coin toss game again between the cross town rivals. I do think WH has just a tick better run game with both 9 and 34, but the defense for both teams are about equal. Should be a great matchup.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
