AWESOME!!! I think it is soooo good that Rebels are being heavily favored & Lions aren’t given half-a-chance. Just playing into Dresden’s hand, right where we want them. Yes!! Perhaps the no-chance Lions should send the reserves to play so starters can be saved for upcoming regional games and playoffs? Haha. J/K.. or am I? .. Really though, Rebels will be tough to beat this year, but it’s not impossible. Both teams & our fans seem to enjoy this rivalry game with so much history. Whoever wins I hope nobody gets injured, & that classy sportsmanship prevails over petty emotionalism that sometimes sadly displays itself, even by fans & coaches, not just the players! It’d be awesome if Lions could pull out the win & shock everyone! We have been getting better every game, & this Friday will tell just how much we have improved. No doubt it will be a sell-out (however many tickets are allotted). I always enjoy the Rebels’ facilities, nice place for visitors, who have their own concessions, rest rooms, parking, etc. which does matter for us older fans or handicapped, where the fewer steps that are required, the better it is. Goooo Lions! Earn a big upset this Friday!

I know our # we have dropped to.  The only thing that may keep us 2A is if Memphis doesn't stay with TSSAA (But they will because of the insurance alone).

Dresden in a shocker!!!!! Personally the Rebels should be a 3TD favorite just based on what I've heard on radio or read on the T. Think Dresden is starting to hit their stride but don't think it will be enough to beat this McKenzie team. That is also the reason they play the game!!!!

Anything can happen when you get a couple of teams a few miles apart that play.  Looking forward to a clean game..injury free.

Ticket sales are different week to week, for the general public, get Dresden tickets at the HS on Fri. between 9:30am-1:30pm (call HS for when family of players & cheerleaders & coaches can purchase, they get first dibs), and Rebels said to call the HS on Wed. to see what they decide on their plan. THIS IS GONNA BE DYYYYNOOOOMIIIIITE!

Don't think Dresden got a chance but hope this game is close. Glad both coaches still want to play this rivalry game.  Think it will be a two score game at half and the Rebels will pull away in the second half.

Agreed, I just don't think we have the studs to hang around long. We are starting to play better but not good enough to get this game.

Should be a good game but I think McKenzie Rebels get the win. Hoping for an injury free game between two good football programs.

Looks like this may be a preview of future region mates after the new classifications come out.  I expect a good game. I’m gonna drive over and watch it.
