It might've come out that way earlier but that's not what's there now, take a new look at it.

This is the new classification numbers released today.  They were in the 6A numbers two weeks ago but not today.  Everyone has until the 29th to declare if they are moving up.  So I will wait until about 2 more weeks when they release the final numbers to see where teams get placed.  
If they stay at 5A it sure sets up some interesting playoff matches in the early rounds,

This thread started 3 hours ago, before 1:00 I'm guessing, and the published time for what's on the TSSAA website is 1:35, so I'm thinking they published the wrong thing earlier, and corrected it at 1:35.  According to what's on there now, Whitehaven is squarely a 6A school.

I cut a pasted a list into SHEETS the other day and I just compared it to todays list and it was missing Warren County at 1,908. So Warren must have been missing.

Grainger will go region 1. Otherwise, you'll only have 4 teams there. I included Seymour and AC with SD, Gibbs, Carter, and Fulton. Scott could even be grouped with Stone, Cumberland, and Livingston.

At least two of the Knox schools will go region 1.  maybe three.

In 4A? Grainger will, and maybe Seymour, but there's zero chance that a Knox County school ends up in Region 1. They will all be in Region 2.

Unless a bunch of them opt to play up...
