TSSAA Releases Classification

Let's hear it.  Who is moving up?  49 in each class.  Will it stay at 49 or will it become unbalanced when schools declare to move up?

If I left someone out, let me know:

Teams moving up to 6A - Gallatin, Beech, Mo East, West Creek, Summit, Shelbyville, Clarksville

Teams moving down to 5A - Mo West, McMinn, Heritage, Ooltewah, Wilson Central, Station Camp, Mt. Juliet, Memphis Central

Teams moving up to 5A - Portland, White Co, Spring Hill, West Ridge (new school), Springfield, Nolensville, Howard

Teams moving down to 4A - Soddy-Daisy, South Doyle, Volunteer

With South Doyle moving down, it'll be interesting to see what Fulton, Seymour, Carter, and Gibbs decide to do this time around. I could see them staying put this time.

They'll all stay in their lower classifications id imagine. This is a dream scenario for Mcminn.

Wow I'm a little surprised by Summit, Shelbyville and Beech all moving up to 6A

The 4A Knox area schools could move again, but I expect that they will stay put now that South Doyle has dropped down. If that's the case, you'll probably have a 6-team region in 4A with SD, AC, Gibbs, Seymour, Fulton, and Carter.

Whitehaven has dropped to 5A.  That’s huge if they stay.

Wonder if NEHS will move up and join Clarksville HS, Rossview HS and West Creek HS in 6A?

Scott high is 4a also. It'd be a 7 team region

Wave88 if I remember right they're initial number was changed later, higher at 1601.  They're #40 on the list and definitely still in 6A.

Or Grainger, or Seymour, or AC.  It's funny how ppl want to put all the Knox schools in one region.

They're listed at 1493 and in 5A in the just published TSSAA list.
