I agree. It should go on. Yes, they didn't play this year and it stinks because SP would have drilled them again. However, just schedule next years game at SP and be back on a normal schedule.

PP, is yous a saying Ifin yous been fighting with a feller fer decades, he regularly wronged you, painted his out house & called the cops & blamed your youngons, unlawfully enters your outhouse, steals yous corn combs & Sports Illustrated Swim Suit edition magazine, then owing yous serious money walks away laughing a mere hours away from yous getting what he owes you, but he is walking around playing sick saying he is unable to pay you. You finds out he is healed up but refusing to pay his debt to you cause he says he ain’t got enough time before he takes off to pay another debt leaving you with debt you wrongfully incurred. Is yous really serious a saying, you’d offer him another opportunity to screw you again?  Old Pirate says, yous jock is way to small! YepReconSo

It's not our community that disappointed me it was theirs. They talk big crap but just lay there and let this happen. Disappointing

Did y’all say 3 weeks of practice with no games hurt the kids when it came time to play Meigs ? Team was rusty, cramping up and took awhile to get their head in the game. Just asking

What would be sweeter...getting revenge on the field next year or not playing for 2 years? I just think about the kids and yes this years seniors didn't get to play unfortunately, but the same would go for sophomores and juniors.

The coaches should have ask the kids what they wanted to do, like they should have done Friday night game going for two instead of kicking the extra point. Team wanted to play South Pittsburg it was the coaches decision.

Old Pirate says leaving them with empty pockets & allowing the high school supporters  know theys do not fulfill obligations while displaying devious activities. WI them Fellers renigged on paying bonuses  1st time around fer coach coward. Figure theys made another promise this time around too. Recon he’ll not last long again neither. As fer the youngons, Ifin theys learnd properly, theys be jest fine not having to deal with continued devious activities. Theys come a time jest to walk away. Leastways a leopards  spots never change & history repeats itself is good to remember. YepReconSo

I understand what y’all are saying it’s a rivalry game but also a money game cause all the school in valley are off that week just to come watch this great game. So I don’t care if y’all get it the next two years cause beating you at your home would be bittersweet!!!!  Just saying LOL
