I would think Obion Central would have wanted to play. They arent in the playoffs and close to home and be more of a money gate I'd think.

Obion Central had their sights on Cancun 5 weeks ago, reason why they didn’t play Haywood and probably used the “Covid” excuse to get out of a meaningless game for them.

teams cannot worry about injuries if THEY have lots of players that are talented   such is not LC    to be crisp as mentioned  requires PRACTICE   there is several things to do . to get ready to play  But go roll the dice and cross fingers everything turns out good    Moreover I would be thinking up things to win against DRESDEN THEN WEST CARROLL   SOMETIMES THINGS HAVE TO BE LEARNED

If I am Lake County, I would play the game, that's just me. Also, nice gesture for the TSSAA giving both teams the luxury of playing a game when they're really not supposed to. The TSSAA didn't have to do that. I agree, with this season being so different, I think we're lucky (as a state) to play into November, something I never thought I would've said back in July.

From my understanding this game will not be played after all. There was a problem getting refs for the game due to the state playoffs. I guess the Falcons will just have to practice and hope the layoff doesn't hurt them too much.

That’s interesting considering there are only 4 games in entirety of Quad 4 this week. Wonder if there would be a shortage if we all had games

    • Wouldn't the easiest move be to move McCall up to HS Principal and have Gulley take over as MS Principal?
    • Bounder, you are correct. And it is so easy today. As a civilian today, I can check my 6th grade grandson’s grades in real time. 46 years ago as a young head coach, I knew who were my weak students and would do a weekly check. A decade and 1/2 later as an administrator, I would ask guidance for attendance, and grade reports as I did my own discipline reports. 5 years later I could run all those reports in a few minutes. today Text one the Secretaries and they can create a red flag report only printing the names with D’s and F’s or attendance and discipline issues. You are not even dealing with a whole team. The only problem with modern technology is someone who might not want to know.
    • No I didn't,  I just know jellico lost a few and should in playoffs tho....but they have alot coming in the next few yrs
    • The buck stops with the head coach, he should have know if any of his players  were not making the required grades. Either he has someone checking weekly before games and reporting to him or he should do it himself.
    • Freedom Prep has discontinued their football program. These are the teams that were on their schedule in case you are looking for a game:
