Still glad Gibbons scored late! It gave us a little breathing room!

Oh definitely!  It just meant that the face mask call, whether right or wrong, didn’t make that much difference.

To anyone, where can I watch a replay?  I thought it would be on the prepradio but it’s not.

Don't be in denial now.  Last two games there were big referee errors that helped OR maintain possession in critical areas.  To deny it is to flat out be a liar.

Oak Ridge outplayed West and deserved to win.Bad calls on both sides happen and u have to respond.West gave up the long TD then went 3 and out without gaining a yard.South Doyle had chance after chance and the Oak Ridge defense ate them alive. Its sad that you and others try to take away from what these boys have accomplished. They went and made the plays when they had to all playoffs long.

See... that "take away from what these boys have accomplished" goes for boys that don't get the benefit of definitive, wrong calls.  When refs screw up that horrifically, it hurts everyone.  I'm not taking away from OR, in fact I said I bet they'd benefit from something similar in the finals too.

My 2 cents:

No question the Cats have benefited from some questionable calls and some game changing calls.  It will take our best effort and execution to beat this Summit team.  One more opportunity to put it all together. And if we can do that, we got a shot.

Go Cats

Yes.  I'm not sure how it cancels the terrible call though.  I don't think it was intentional; I think it was lucky for OR.

Yea after watching it again it definitely wasn’t facemask but from the refs view of the play i can see where he thought it was a face mask, to me is another reason i think they need to add in replay review for high school football definitely for playoffs I know refs will make mistakes cause they do in college and nfl but they have coaches challenge and reviews where there able to correct a lot of mistakes they need that in high school football

Your team lost and its time to move on. Your crying about calls because the team you wanted to win didnt.Im sure both coaches will work on what cost them the game instead of the calls that didnt go there way.We got to watch 2 good games and all you can talk about is the calls u didnt get and BS about calls that wont happen in finals

I've been pretty objective here.  I'm just saying those are game changing calls.  I've talked about them all year.  The first game I recall with such a call was the Pal/ Central game.  I also remember an insane call against Carter earlier in the year too. I talked about those too.  My point is I'm tired of refs screwing the pooch.

I hope OR wins, and I hope they get the breaks with the refs because I believe that the Knoxville area (including OR) plays the best football in the state.

Only person got sensitive here was you.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
