Let me ask you another question. Are you going to call me stupid when I show you my Murphy Fair book? You better not try to steal it.  Murphy autographs mine. Ill bring us some hot cocoa in my thermos.   You think im joking but im not.

If you share your fudge rounds I promise not to call you stupid. I will call a truce for this one week. Lol.

Ahh...What position did they move #1 to?  He was a heck of an athlete.

#1 is Anthony Brown the kid with the Alabama offer and Mr. Football finalist. He was qb 100% of the time. The backup is as Hayden Sullivan #5. He is now the full time starter and they move Brown around all over the field. He will line up at receiver or running back. As a running back they will hand off to him or direct snap to him. When they wildcat it to him he could run it or pull up and throw it. The defense stays on their heels cause they don’t know what to expect. This past week they used him sparingly on offense and more on defense. Had a couple of picks. Moving him around makes the offense so much more versatile.

Watched Milan on tape against Peabody and Covington....Milan has a lot of good looking athletes.  I think they have the athletes to be competitive and I think their defense will be very competitive with Alcoa.  While they have great looking athletes on offense, I think it will be difficult for them to generate many points on this Alcoa defense with the offense they run.  I see Alcoa 21  Milan 7

Also in the Peabody game #26 Gy’derius Easley only played a couple of snaps and #22 DJ Smith did not play. Easley is up to almost 1500 rushing yards for the season and #22 is a wr/db that is going to Central Michigan next year. If you watched the Peabody game you noticed a couple of long passes by Peabody for touchdowns right after halftime. Had he been playing that game and Brown had been on defense those receptions probably don’t happen. Different team on offense and defense with those guys in the game.

    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
    • Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.
