Still call BS on that one.

well, call BS all you want dude... Science and statistics do not lie. This is not an opinion, it is a fact. How many colleges that used to have turf change back to grass? I do not have the numbers in front of me, but I know several have.

If your talking old school AstroTurf I'd agree that stuff was basically outdoor carpet.  The new stuff now days is probably softer than a lot of grass fields with the rubber etc.. that's put down with it.

I’ll take your side on this one. It’s been proven that more injury’s occur on turf. Has been for years. Nothing new. Turf is definitely nice, but I’ll take player safety over anything.

Science and statistics don't lie? That's a hilarious statement especially after the year 2020.

Several colleges and university that changed to turf years ago have taken it out and replaced it with natural grass. I think this goes to show that turf may not be all that it is cracked up to be. I see the upside to having turf as well, I am just not a fan. I am happy for Covington if this is what they want.

I Agee. I’m happy for Covington as well or anyone else that gets turf that wants it. Milan’s is awesome looking except for the hideous purple lol. But the way things are going gonna end up playing a lot of away games on turf. So just have to get used to it I guess.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
