Clinton is a Junior, they have 4 seniors.

#2 pitcher V. True can pitch again tomorrow now.  So Smith will pitch Championship.  Genius just genius.

I know SP starts a couple freshman, at least 5 seniors, then a mix in between.  We’ve got several pitchers, but ball is always better in Middle TN in my opinion.  I’m just happy we made it to the tournament.  It says a lot about these kids to do it in Baseball AND in Football.

Big time accomplishment for the pirates, a memory those boys will hold on to for a lifetime.

East has been dominant so far. Between True, Clinton, and now Stroud, they have allowed no runs and only 4 hits. As someone stated earlier, Smith hasn’t even thrown yet and would be the likely starter for the championship game if they can hold on here. Up 2-0, bottom of the 7th, 3 outs away from the title game. The pitching depth is insane. They’ve put on an absolute clinic so far.

Will they be moving up to AA with the new class system next year ?
