I wasnt at the scrimmage but I did hear Christian Brothers scored 8 times and we scored 6. I dont know much details about it but I do believe Christian Brothers is a very very good football team.

CBHS has rb D Hayden, son of old Vol rb Aaron Hayden, who is committed to Ohio State and lineman Kutas, who is committed to Arkansas.

They were good, and the more physical team last night. Which surprised me, because regardless of the outcome, there’s not many times that we’re not the most physical team. We have a long way to go, but there were some bright spots. They were running blitz packages on defense and screens/gimmicks on offense, while we stayed pretty vanilla. I’d rather be vanilla in a scrimmage and save the good stuff for week one. CBHS is a very good football team, and should go far in their division.

CBHS is always tough. Good to get some work in with the likes of them and MBA before the season.

I'm no authority on the matter, but I've been assuming for a few weeks now that this one will be at Barton Field.

Yeah I would imagine so. They played MBA at Barton Field one year. Seems like 7 or 8 years ago.

I would like for someone that has knowledge of the field installation give an update. It is being kept really quiet

Just judging by what the field looks like now, looks to me like they are ready for the turf. I been keeping up with them each day. They laid the gravel and there was some kind of really fine material they put on it recently. It just looks to me like the field is ready for the turf guys now.

I heard from one of the filming crew, that MBA scrimmage will be at Barton Field. Jamboree maybe at Bethel. Summit game maybe an away game. All depends on when the field is ready.
