I admit I had this score almost reversed. I just didn't think Carter could screw it up this bad.

Well. We don’t talk much. We play. It was a typical, humid, calf-trap of a game. Cyclones had 5 guys with cramping at the same time at one point. Tough played game. And Cyclone Nation showed up IN FORCE. Visitors side was sold out.

 We now own a 31 game win streak, and 4 in a row over the Toppers. I’ll take it. Now, SH has to go to Anderson County. AC loosing to Powell right now. Rhea County comes to Betsy after being dismantled by Alcoa. And Greeneville plays Saturday. Football is back!!!

AC lost 60-48 in a Juggernaut. Cyclones should handle Rhea County. Then the GREENE boys roll into town .  Have a blessed weekend.

This game was not what I was expecting. SHHS had two huge runs and scored on the first.  Twice due to huge 25 & 30 yd penalties, Toppers got inside the 10. Scored on one of those. Other than these scores, they were pretty much kept in check.  Betsy has a lot of things to work on. Way too many penalties. Need more step up in the receiver position.  Line play was pretty solid.  Still have work that needs to be done. But a win is a win. Enjoy it to night. Tomorrow, back to work for next week. Good job Cyclones!

If I could quote everyone I would but forget yall haters. We knew what we had and the seniors on science Hill haven't beaten us. Either we are better than advertised or Science Hill is vastly overrated

Track, would like to have seen the out come if we hadn’t gave them so many possessions inside the 20.  They sure got more yards on penalties from busted plays than they did running their plays.

According to the paper we had one more penalty yard than SH. Us with 112 and them with 111 I believe. The six opportunities to score inside the 5 and still couldn’t get it done. But what stuck out to me most was Betsy runs on and off the field. They run to the locker room at halftime. SH walked on and off and also walked to the locker room. That tells me all I need to know.

Unfortunately this is just another over rated and over hyped SH team.  Lot’s of work to be done if they ever want to be able to play with the top teams in Tennessee and win a gold ball.
