That would have been a good game as well... but they were a no go and Red Bank said nope as well..

I get it, but teams like White co who was going to play Warren county didn't make a lot of sense.... I hate it for Blackman as they really do need the playing time to gel ... especially as a young ine

I think they will try to... but wouldn't be surprised if they don't.... I can see teams using that as a hold open week until last minutes for Covid make up week all over the state,,, especially if it is a district game they gotta make up...

State runner up... but not the same team that  played last year. They were missing some key players they had last year and getting new guys acclimated. While I was Happy to se the style offense they were throwing out there, they have a lot of work to do to be ready for Oakland Riverdale and Summit... If they get a win over Riverdale or Summit..I would say they are close to having the team ready to compete ... That's why this game was so pivotal . They needed more snaps, more reads, more looks...

Not sure that's a fair measuring stick this year. Oakland, Riverdale and Summit are 3 of the top 5 teams in 6A. If Blackman can hold serve against the rest of the schedule, that's a really good year. Those 3 could be games 8-10 and the result probably won't change, maybe with Riverdale since their offense isn't as prolific as the other 2

I can see that.  Seems Gallatin has a lot out right now.  Hopefully this will be the only stall in the season on our side anyway.

As badly as I wanted this game to happen this week or a game period, I am more concerned about the health and welfare of both our team and yours. I hope they both get through this season with limited or no hiccups moving forward

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
