I'm not sure.  I would imagine the Tigers will wait for a letter written in blood and hand delivered by an representative of the TSSAA before they declare anyone eligible these days.

I'm under the impression that he was eligible last week, but obviously want to make sure that EVERYTHING is signed off on by the powers that be.  Don't want to get fudged over like in '19, even though we had "permission" in '19. I'm guessing we even sent receipts for the moving company and water/electric cut -on notes/dispensation from the Pope/ videos of him carrying moving boxes/library card/change of address forms for USPS/registration in the local church/preferred customer card at Subway, etc.  But even then, seems like some Huntland coaches and "anonymous callers" still raise heck with our program and coach.  So, all that being said, I don't blame Coach Morson for taking any and all extra precautions and playing the waiting game with this young man.  As long as Mr. Childress doesn't take sick and some subordinate attempt a coup, he might get to play.  BTW, I have heard he's even a better basketball player.

Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth that Caine is the dirty Upperlipman. The man knows football and would have done even better at the Squatch if he would have let me come padded up to practice to toughen up the boys.

Now we got stuck in God’s Country with some loser coach from Fayetteville. He has made our boys soft and won’t even sit down and talk X’s and O’s With me and my boys.

Hope this game ends in a tie so both teams feel like they have kissed a girl and realized it was their 3rd cousin. It was a rough night back in 04 when that happened.

I don't blame the cautious approach a bit but I hope to see some of his highlights next week. He's one heck of a football and basketball player.

Our middle school team  finally got the upper hand on the Tigers last week. You had run up quite the streak on us.

@Southtowner I'm not sure what jersey number he may be assigned, and he's a Junior.  He was on our sidelines at the Wayne Co. game.  Tall, lanky fellow, was wearing some kind of a red jersey and street clothes.  Looks like he's getting along fine with the players--lots of high fives, etc. You may have spotted him.

Hearing rumors of the big rb/lb #2 for UHS is being held out after sprained ancle last week in the game. Huge loss for the Bees if true.
