We had 3 drives into redzone with 0 points. I believe they were inside the 10. If not very close. They have the only defense we've played against better than ours IMO.

Offense isn't exactly our strong suit this year with new starters in almost every skill position but we're improving week to week. We'd love to have a 5 star quarterback to plug in I assure you. I'd love to have played you guyd with some of the other offenses we've had in the last few years but I digress. We look forward to coming to Martin next year.

I have seen Westview play at Fairview and online against Peabody. Fairview took the opening drive down the field and scored quickly. Seems like Westview made an adjustment and was able to slow the run game down. Fairview has a lot of weapons but just couldn’t move the ball effectively. I would love to see the Fairview/Waverly game! If UC could get a lead or keep it a one score game then they could very well burn some clock. Problem is if you get down a couple of scores and have to change your game plan, give them more opportunities to get the ball back. Should be a good game.

Westview didn't have their starting D-line and 1 defensive back in against Fairview on the first drive when Fairview drove down and scored. They had to sit out the first series because of a lack of effort in practice that week. The other score came late in the game with a break in coverage that went 90+ yards on a pass play. I will have to say Fairview has absolutely the best student section and respectful players  I've ever seen. Alot of Westview's players wanted to go back to Fairview the next week if Westview's game with Gibson Co. would have been canceled due to Covid and sit in Fairview's Student Section and cheer them on.

That’s a good thing to hear them wanting to return. Them sitting out is a good thing I would have sat them out too for lack of effort can’t ever think you sitting comfortable or you “got it like that” when you winning and at the top of your game EVERYBODY trynna knock you off! Let’s hope they don’t have that problem again! But back to this week union city is not to be overlooked they are not 5-1 by accident or fluke last week they showed they can grind it out, I’m looking at our defense on this one.

Westview should win this game. The Tornadoes siren warning & their Cat.5-Twister making HAARP machine will be short-circuited by the Chargers defense, who will be unplugging all of UC’s scoring machine capacities. WV offense will be fully powered up, & should hand out special shock-proof gloves to the other team so they won’t get too burned & charred by what’s about to happen from them Chargers. Good luck to both in nobody getting injured! Score? WV “ALOT” vs UC “not enough”.

Union Citys best chance is to win the coin toss take the ball and score first. Imo they must have a lead or keep tied. I don't see them having a good night if they're trying to play catch up in any fashion.

that was corny. one thing uc has done well this year was fight through the doubt of others. this week they know the crowd is against them. looking forward to seeing them fight to the final whistle friday night!!

You have to overlook Hevey. He likes to wax poetic ……….a lot. That was a short post. He has the ability to go on and on and on just like that stupid rabbit.

The Camden Westview game was a blowout but I will say Camden had several drives were they pounded the ball down Westviews throat. They would then fumble or throw an interception and they were done for quickly. Looks like McConnell plays a little triple option too butttt not as good as the Tornadoes and not as physical as the Tornadoes. Westview will score that is no doubt but could be hard to place lots of points on board if our offense is doing what it is designed to do.
