According to the coachT strength of schedule ratings Green Hill is 24 of 48 teams in 5A with their opponents having won 48.8% of their games. Page is 48 out of 48 with opponents having only won 37.2% of their games. FYI.

BPM, i think you put this on the wrong thread.

No somebody on this thread asked who they thought the winner of HC vs Springfield would play in the semis. They said they thought Green Hill because they had played a tougher schedule than Page. I was just responding to the question they asked.

Just wondering SPT fans, who do you consider your biggest rival right now? Clarksville, Gallatin or some of the closer schools you play?

White House. Clarksville is the longest running game with Springfield played like 80 something times except for last year because of covid. But Springfield vs White House is a bigger rivalry imho. The schools are close and it use to be “the” game of the year. The stadium is always packed out when they play each other, no matter If it’s a home or away game. Sad part is they won’t play each other for whatever reason when they’re not in the same region.

That is sad because like you said it would be a huge gate for both teams plus the game would be a good tune up for both teams. It is sorta like HC and Milan. They can't or won't play each other any more and it would be big for both teams.

Whatever reason??? lol you know the reason.

Couple embarrassing wins by us in 18 @ 20 killed any chance of us playing outside of region.

East Nashville will put up 40 on them tonight.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
