You should know by now uKnoit that you should read it first before listening to rumors.  People put their own twist and agenda on things these days and that’s what’s wrong with this world.

Yes, I do know that...I read it. Still sounded arrogant but no biggie.

Hoping you all wear it out and I think you will

Cyclone success has nothing to do with Carter Co school's football...At least not in a positive way

Well positive for them in what looks like what might be a 3 peat. Could you imagine the team if Hampton and Cloudland were one school this year. The depth would be unreal.

I’m hoping for success for all 3 teams.  Go dogs,  landers, and Cyclones!

I'm with you GOOOOOOOOO carter Co, But to think Etown is the reason or even partly the reason for any County schools success is outlandish, Its actually quite the opposite, Poor HV may have had the worst team in their history and I'm afraid it not gonna get  any better for um.  Every team in Carter Co would have had more success over the last several years if kids didn't opt to Etown, I don't blame and kid or their parents, its worked out well for them but its sure not been a blessing to any of our County schools.

You fill that freezer yet?  Me and my two boys have taken 4 from Sunday to Wednesday. Called it a season after last night.

Not yet, we have 1 so far but I’m normally late to the party, especially this year with work, school, and football, after Dec 10th it will fill up rapidly, we normally like to have 7-8 by seasons end

Good luck the rest of the season. We live out of town so basically have the week of thanksgiving to hunt each year.  Hit it hard on the family farms this week but that’s basically it.  Was another good season though!

And wish the jackets were back on the creek bank for the semis this year.

That would have been nice to be home tomorrow night, but this team has shown they can go on the road and win, I’m confident in this group

    • And that needs to go, Charter ,private ,magnet, city and any school that operates differently than pure public schools should be separated. What really needs to be done is address urban and rural. About all the usual powers have access to several kids from other schools period.
    • Sad deal. Hate it. So the coach that kicked her off is now fired??
    • Slightly off topic from a gender standpoint but just observed several boys volleyball games in the Knoxville area for a short spring season. The guys seemed to have a great time. There were several club players on each team but several football, basketball and tennis players involved. Knoxville Catholic, Maryville, Heritage, Knoxville West maybe William Blount had teams. Thanks to Coach Brent Carter from Knoxville Catholic/K2 for getting it together. I’m sure the coaches involved got several laughs trying to coach guys that really had no idea what they were talking about but pretty athletic and competitive. Catholic’s best basketball player told the coach he had played a lot of 2:3 and 1:3:1 but never a 3:3 LOL Maybe it will catch on with some more schools next year.
